The certification you receive at the end of any of our AHA BLS CPR classes is the same no matter which option you choose. This course is typically taken by healthcare professionals. For example, nurses, physicians, EMT/Paramedics, PT, OT, PA, pharmacists, RT, dentists, and students in any of these fields. However, any of the AHA BLS CPR classes listed below are open to anyone ages 16 and older that needs a CPR certification. In addition, after completing any of our AHA BLS CPR classes, your certification is valid for a period of two (2) years. 2. AHA BLS Skills Session - $50
In contrast to the above in-person course, the skills check is for students who have already completed this course online through AHA (https://www.worldpoint.com/heartcode-bls). You should come prepared to practice/demonstrate your skills. We need to verify your completion certificate prior to the course so for that reason, you must complete the online course prior to registering. Additionally, your official AHA BLS Certification will be issued at the end of class. Skills sessions are not recommended for first time students, however, anyone can complete the course using this option. To clarify, this is the most expensive choice as you are required to purchase the online course directly from AHA and subsequently register for this skills session at an additional cost. This option is recommended for experienced healthcare providers who have taken any of the AHA BLS CPR classes in the past.
